A favorite tool in my box is the magnifier. Click and drag to zoom in on a section of chart, sometimes obviously trending, other times chop. Depends what's on my mind, what I'm considering changing or what's not working. Other times just looking for something to grab my attention, something I won't know until I see. Zoom in, back off, zoom in until there it is. A model. I make notes on the chart, shoot a gif, save it, print it, and code the exception. Then verify the signals changed as intended. A documented exception for a special case of a variable. A model.

Merry Christmas to all,
Mechanical Method
