I doubt they ever had victory as an option and that over 1/4 of all P4s ever built are still in 'the channel' trying to get sold.

If the consumer has no choice, those P4s will eventually get sold. I stopped by CompUSA, and it was all Intel except a lone 1.3 GHz HP Athlon, somewhat obsolete, and there were maybe 2 or 3 notebooks (out of 12).
