Hi DJ, <<I guess, you missed my point on abra cadabra>> I thought I got it, and so I responded by focusing only on gold, but apparently not:0)

<<I am bored … zodiac is clicking on … Titanic holding on to its course... still up 10% on the year>>

The process of sailing the Titanic on to the rocks is a slow, meticulous and grinding affair, involving economic arm wrestling, political mud slinging, media spin, repeated mini euphoria and recurring minor disappointments, occasionally and rudely interjected with high drama.

I am looking forward to the certain post-mortem book on Enron (the one written with a sense of humor, ala When Genius Fail, or Den of Thieves), and I suspect Enron’s record will be broken before all is well.

I know some folks who would now gladly settle for 10% up, as opposed to 10% down, leaving 20+ odd percent to catch up.

<<which flowers are supposed to stay around in 2002 ... let's stay down-to-earth and ask for impossible>>

Let’s see, my impossible wish should be do-able: Yen backs up to 120, giving me safe entry to borrow and use negative interest rate capital to short NEM puts/covered calls, until Japan drags the whole world into the soup, and raise NEM to hallucinogenic level. Simple ideas are implement-able.

Chugs, Jay
