If I want electric power in my home as I build another story to my house, I actually have to use a metal to carry that power. It's called copper. If I want water in that upstairs bathroom I actually need pipes. Now I could use plastic but for longevity and health give me copper. Now in my roads and house platforms I do use concrete but there is steel for strength and I believe that's a metal too. Now when new bridges are built are they plastic or steel?
Afghanistan is about to be rebuilt. Will they use your newfangled composites or will they use steel, copper, zinc etc? What will they use in the batteries of the trucks, yeah Lead Acid batteries, that's what.
