Complete, but with zero hoopla because AMD wants to do a stealth thing and surprise some people.

I would think they need to show it's real and they need to do that in a bad way. Intel demoed Merced within 3 weeks of first silicon(FS). Intel did their entire IDF presentation on a Willamette just a couple of weeks after FS. Intel demoed a 4-way McKinley at the March IDF'01 also only weeks from FS. That gives a clear message that your product is real and the infrastructure is there. Processor, chipsets, MBs, systems, OS, applications etc, everything. The absence of Hammer sends the opposite message to OEMs who have already turned it down. Kind of hard to re-ignite interest without a product.

Droids of course see Hammer taking over the world.
