i was looking from a different angel, ending up with your point ("profit taking").

the way i see it: back last year the bonds were trading for .25-.45 cents on the dollar. when they were converted, it was for the full price (in shares) or a premium (in cash, rather than shares). please double-check, and if my memory serves me correctly, even if shares were converted for $7.5 (i think it was lower), it has to be trading @ 3$ for break-even. selling anything above is a gain.

it has been a long time (and many diff debt conversions/prices) so i don't remember all the details. but overall this one looks more like a gain than a loss.
