I bought at 83 AU cents and today it is $1.04. The company has been dsimantled all except now Ansell Healthcare and it is likely this remaining unit will be acquired by a US corporation. It is US based. Has last year profits of $A145million but valuation of the group is just over $A1B currently. Of course that isn't much of an Aussie Dollar play :) Those buys and holds are just consensus analyst views and I'd never pay too much attention to them. Especially on Aussie stocks thta are mainly traded here. The biggest holders of Pacific Dunlop are Shamrock which is a Disney family vehicle and Aussie institutions.
