Well the problem is that the problem is defined incorrectly. The only real danger is making a plane into a guided missile ala 911. I believe that problem has been solved for commercial airliners. A guided missile can kill in the thousands.

As to terrorists blowing up planes. No people exist and I don't think technology exists that would allow people to guarantee 100% safety. That's life and no amount of hand wringing or money will solve the problem.

If we live with it and minimize it then the value of destroying a plane becomes less and the targeting of planes becomes less. If everyone adopted an oh well attitude then I'd guess no more planes would be at risk.

The next problem is private planes and can they be turned into missiles. I'm hoping Uncle is doing something. But that is another very difficult problem.

The solution is to focus on all terror groups and keep up the pressure as the PRESIDENT GEORGE W. BUSH administration is doing. Over time there will be attrition and then a point where those left are so isolated that they don't have the resources to carry out attacks successfully.

I'd bug every madras and terminate any teacher who infects the young with hate. In the USA or anywhere.
