Elmer- Your post on AMD yields started me thinking about the value of AMD's products to me so I started to evaluate my last 10 years experiences with both AMD's and Intel's products. The project is not yet complete but last night I had an insight as I gazed at an AMD 386DX-40 running NT 3.51 and an AMD XP-1700+ running Windows 2000 alongside each other. Both boards retailed for about the same, $60. The insight was, sometime after the 386DX-40 AMD lost it's way but found it's way back again. Now, sometime after the 440BX chipset Intel has lost it's way and the question is when will they find their way back again. Harvey
