They had a good idea of what our ideals are, but we do not live up to them.

What is needed, as a major part of our Foreign policy, IMO, it the exporting of our ideas. Unfortunately, that concept is reviled here as "Cultural Imperialism."

I won't pursue this with you, as I can tell from your posts that I would be doing the equivalent of "Admistering medicine to the dead."
