Verizon is pricing the phone at $179.99 (plus $30 Activation Fee) with a 1-Year Contract.

FWIW....Best Buy was selling it for about $70 (from Sprint)after various rebates. Pretty amazing price considering it has only been out for two months.

Now they just need to get a 1x handset through the approval process....

On another topic....what do you think of the VOD/Verizon announcement today? It sounds like Qualcomm has finally gotten tight with VOD. I was complaining (for a long time) about the fact that Q didnt seemt to be involved in the W-CDMA development effort....but that seems to have changed dramatically in the last six months.
