I'm saying any Samsung (at least as regards tri-mode).

Samsung has been trying to qualify a tri-mode since the 3 major networks rolled together and Verizon revamped its National Rate Plan (about 18 months ago).

I'm from the BAM (BAM/NYNEX ) side of Verizon which used to be strictly 800 MHz and so far as I can recall they never had a Samsung dual-mode 800 MHz.handset. I can't speak to the Airtouch or GTE entities (or pieces of PrimeCo) that rolled in.

The single current Samsung offering in my geography (equipment on the VZ Wireless site is accessed by zip code) is the new SCH-N300 and there has been no Samsung model available for at least the last 12 months.
