Fred et al: Compliments of the season. Some ramblings follow.

CIC in 2002.

As before, income, income--ie where are the wireless rev streams.

First of all----got an XM satellite radio for XMAS--brilliant--great reception--stuff the commercials--look at what happened to AM and FM. You get what you want--News, etc. Reception everywhere--great. CIC involved--good--but as always--what is the deal--per customer--flat rate???

XM will take awhile to break even--if ever. Therefore, my assumption is that CIC will be forced in the deal to wait for rev plateau -- maybe a customer # plateau deal.

Anyway--gut says that this new CIC management is linearly progressive--focused on one deal at a time--and a good implimenter group.

Since we lack so much in knowledge of deals--I can only speculate that 2002 will be a gradual income rising year for CIC--as wireless uses graduallly expand--new apps gradually come to market etc.

A race is on for bank roll burn versus income. Yes bank roll is down (should never have gone up), but is still high number of people for the income projected.

Need those few major high vol customer income type deals.

In other words--I can only see some gradual dim light at the end of the tunnel--but am now riding the train (again) and hope to have a $5 Cdn in a year stock --or a buy out at that level--anytime in 2002.

Whatever--CIC has brillant technology, brilliant R&D, new solid mangement. Worth a few shares in the 2002 New Years wish list for all.

Happy New year

Tom D.
