If this was intentional, AAPL would have sued microsoft and won. I don't know if any of these happened. I doubt that Microsoft is a well-managed corporation nor is AAPL/ IBM/SUNW. These companies became too big too fast and have little clue in quality control - their management is not trained in the art of managing huge companies. You are so blinded by the hatred against MSFT that you think there is a bigger sinister plan behind their missteps. It is just incompetence.
