The writer's opinion has been expressed before in 1999, before the 2000 year rollover. How many more writers will it take to express the same doomsday rhetoric, before there actually will be a doomsday and that writer can then say, "See, I told you so". A new spin to the doomsday argument is at the very least refreshing. The old ones were getting boring. BTW - I am conservative but lean libertarian. That's why I vehemently fought Axis Annie on the freedom of speech issue. I didn't see any Democrats stepping up for their professed beliefs. I thought freedom of speech was important to them, ...I guess I was wrong.
