<The ideas that have to be transmitted are the ones from the enlightenment that this country was founded on. You know, "Life, Liberty, and pursuit of Happiness." Individual freedom. >

Oh, you mean those olde English ideas which the USA recently picked up. Not that cultural stuff which we aren't allowed to mention but which is a big export.

It took the USA a while to ditch slavery and segregation and it retained quite an antipathy to certain sexual proclivity until recent decades [and even now - enquire whether Jesus Christ might have been homosexual and see people go all weird; personally, I think homosexuality is weird, but I think there is so much weird in the world, I can't get too worked up about victimless weirdness].

This country [after becoming part of the British Empire] was founded on the same ideas and never did have the slavery and stuff, though we are trying to develop apartheid now. It's difficult, but we're working on it. One of the problems is that males and females keep on mixing up the DNA. Maintaining racial purity is a very big problem. Just because Hitler, South Africa and the USA couldn't make racist laws work doesn't mean we shouldn't have a go at it. Personally, I think it's weirdness to try, but they don't ask me.
