What I noticed is that showing good diversification your investments have nothing to do with China, I think (?) unlike those poor Enron employees.

First State's Geared Share Fund and Developing Companies Fund hit new all time highs (on an accumulation and month closing basis) yesterday.

colonialfirststate.com.au

Their Global Resources Fund is about to do the same. (I'm also invested in their Global Shares and Future Leaders funds which aren't doing quite as well).

You will also notice that the Income Fund is paying 4.95%

Think I'll write more Mayne puts on Monday, it is showing signs of recovery. I'm up 7.7% on the month so far. Unfortunately, not as good on the year :)

Have you heard of/ know a guy called Howard Gorgeous that the BBC always interview on finance issues from Hong Kong? Apparently his solution to the lack of money-making opportunities in HK is to grow lychees in China. Not sure that that sounds like a good idea.
