today's chart action seems to suggest that mtsn is breaking out of its recent range. frankly, i would like to see more volume but that may come. that said, the way to make money in chip equip stocks over the past several months has been to buy on extreme weakness (aka "fear") and to sell on strength (aka "hope"). hence, buying on breakouts and strength, which worked in 1999 and 2000, doesn't seem to work anymore. be careful, this may be no more than a year end tax selling bounce.
