EMC Corp (EMC) 13.52 -0.10: -- Before Open -- Soundview advises investors to avoid EMC at current levels and to look for an entry point below $10. Firm believes virtualization software will not be a major revenue producer in 2002 but acknowledges that 2002 will be a key year for product introductions; adds that EMC's biggest issue in 2002 will be re-establishing earnings power in its hardware operations.
