vt. The PM gains I took last week & this week

were out of necessity to fund the rest of the patch buying I've been hard into for almost 2 weeks. Still LT bullish on the golds and silvers and continue to hold a few positions. OTOH, felt real urgency about accelerating my patch buying early this week.

HOFF has probably been my hottest OS, at least so far. Per prev posts, was in @ $6.27 Monday. After some intra-day consolidation (today) popped to close at day hi $7.75. And, by end Jan, a lot higher IMHO. Don't usually set targets. Just let em do their thing and watch the trend till it starts to play itself out.

NSS been very strong the past 2 days. Up about 8% today. My other OS stocks are moving up slowly.

In big NG E&Ps, missed leader APC completely. But did get a decent amount of DVN which has been doing well since Mondays entry.

If this cold sticks around most of January, think the real fireworks will be in better quality sm NG explorers like our pals CRK, EPEX, CRZO and PQUE. CRK has been the strongest so far. But CRZO came to life today.

NAT and VLCCF were probably responding to todays OPEC accord. Hopefully there's more strength to come from those 2.

APL just went XD on the 27th, so could be sloppy for a bit before following other NG pipeline/gatherers. That's another sm cap that can really crank if the NG sector continues to attract investors.

Overall, this is the largest patch weighting I've run since the Summer of 2000. In other words....huge.
