I do not believe the American public would support The US decision to sell and make land mines. I do not believe the American public is aware of what the US has been doing. As you say, "The manufacture, sale and use of land mines under any circumstances could easily be declared as terrorism as far as I'm concerned." The United States has its own ugly record of CIA involvement in terrorism, especially in Central America. Still, the use of land mines is an atrocious and a barbaric act against human beings. We should stop the manufacture of land mines in the United States. An American marine was injured by a land mine in Afghanistan recently.
