All, and Sam (because you are from Austin, so maybe this will be a neat story for you):
I have never watched Texas play a football game, in my life, but I wanted to watch them play Washington, since my family always had season tickets to the Stanford games. Besides there are bowl games all over television!
The game was incredible. It was touch and go. The announcers said that GWB was watching.
Besides an incredible game, what really encouraged me was when the Quarterback, Marshall Applewhite, said that his hero is Jay Barker. Being from a family that loves Alabama football, it hit me, Jay Barker is a neat Christian, and a great guy! He has an incredible testimony. Then Marshall Applewhite went onto quote a verse in the Bible, from I Peter. He is a Christian too! Maybe that is only amazing to me, but it made me smile! I love to see the good guys win!
