Were there current Taliban there or not? Did competing tribal leaders provide disinformation to the US to elimate their rivals? Did the Taliban use disinformation to cause a bombing of the convoy? Does the US care what the answer is...nah. We'll just insist that it was a valid target. How about: Yes to all of the above? AND the ONLY possible way of avoiding mistakes in war is . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . dont't fight one. Didn't you say in a post a day or two ago that you supported military action int the WTC matter? As soon as you figure out how to fight a PERFECT war, please let the Pentagon (or what's left of it) know. I'm sure they'll be highly interested.
