Nope. The default boot drive is C:

If he hasn't changed any of that, then it needs to go into the C drive.

I had this exact same problem one time. And it didn't matter if I had 'boothereyoucrazyPOS.ini' on the D drive, it wouldn't do it. I had to put one single stinkin' file on the clean, wiped C drive for it to work.

That is what I am betting is going on here.

However, for insurance, might be a good idea for him to put it on both. Sure couldn't hurt.
