If so, that IS a big change" Just a small sign of things large...yet to come...As you noted, if AMD can ship record units without presence in US, then imagine market share gains by AMD once they kick down the phoney barriers to the US market...As 500 to 700 MHZ machines are replaced by 1600 to 1900 XP's, not only does AMD gain marketshare but INTC/AMD price differentials all but disappear...i.e. AMD's ASP's go up while INTC's ASP's tread water at best...
