Gottfried, Guess i am not doing my part. My around town car is a 1986 Nissan Maxima with 196,000 miles which runs great as of now. It's due for a timing belt change at 207,000 miles. I understand I should get 282,000-300,000 miles out of it. Therefore, it should last me another 10 years. <ggg> However, my new one for trips is a Toyota Avalon (a great car). I do get a new car fever but ask myself what is the purpose of my old car around town--just local transportation.
