Also agreed. However, even if the Palestinian folk were interested in having a democracy, since they're not yet a nation, it's not possible.

Not so. About 95% of the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza are under direct PA rule. It's not possible because of their current leadership, but that's a different story. Arafat won an election in 1996 (which Hamas boycotted), and promised another election within three years. It never happened.
