Michael, this is probably not a good time to put your daughter's money to work. She deserves credit for not foolishly throwing her money at the market during the past several months. The risk involved with purchasing the QQQ at this point is the highest it's been since spring of 2000 (and you know what happened after that-----> QQQ was trading at about $118 back then).

Your daughter should be commended for wisely starting early in her saving for retirement. However, wisdom currently dictates that she not invest her hard earned money at the point when the market is at greatest risk.

IMO, she will have the opportunity to purchase the QQQs near 28 again sometime this year. Continued patience will be rewarded.
