we'll see about this. i think many will be caught off-guard here. several individuals i know who are working for comapnies that are not doing well, will still be getting an upgrade in notebooks next year. companies can't keep deferring IT purchases for very much longer. Its been 3 years since last cycle. Notebooks, in particular, have seen a huge performance increase since then.

As for when the economy turns & companies start to actually turn profitable, watch out for IT spending! Intel has built enough capacity to take advantage of this opportunity...unlike last upgrade cycle.
