Finfan, I don't sell covered calls so I can't comment on that one. As for the Jult calls you bought, did you mean you bought 115 strike price or you bought your calls when Dell was at 116?

I think Dell is a fine buy as I am expecting 80-100 by years end after the split. However, something to consider is buying a longer term option such as the January 120 calls.

Dell going to $100 would be a 71% gain owning the stock. Buying the January 120 calls(60 post split) at $18.5 and Dell reaching $100 would yield 330% but with added risk if Dell doesn't perform.

I am not a fan of Intel stock right now with all the turmoil in price structure and competition. It's a great compaany but right now it would be best as a longer term play.
