Why don't you educate yourself about Koran and its teaching, and not how someone practiced it hundreds of years ago.

Other people have answered you about the dhimmi laws. I'm talking about Islam is practiced today. In what Muslim country do non-Muslims have equal rights? I can only think of Turkey. In Saudi Arabia, of course, they are not permitted by law at all.
