Pam, I would have loved to be there, but I had to go to Utah for my wife's cousin's son's wedding (pheww!). I'm in Berkeley. How about meeting at the relatively new Pyramid Ale Brewery in my fair city? It's about as big as a city block. You can drink their brews and look at the huge steel vats they brewed them in in the next area. I think it's now the biggest restaurant in Berkeley. Or, a picnic on campus at UC? Those are my two geographically biased suggestions. I hear from another thread that you're out Vallejo way. We could meet in the wine country. What say you? By the way, I just realized that this would be a great place to ask for ideas on a good place to have a BIG FIVE OH birthday party for my wife. She was leaning toward the wine country, but the only winery I could find that did food was Viansa Anyone have any ideas of a good place for a catered picnic birthday party within an hour of Berkeley?
