Are there any problems associated with using cell phones for setting up PC internet connections? I hope that is not too stupid a question.

The possibility of good phone service throughout China coupled with PC internet connections could be a huge fast moving market. Intel is clearly a major player, but who might be the major player providing good phone service? Might Hong Kong Telecomm, symbol HKT, be a major contender?
