***OT AGAIN ON WARRANTIES*** Gottfried, I HAD to just mention today's warranty offer. I bot a new cordless phone on sale at Radio Shack for $29.95. The sales guy twisted my arm hard to buy the extended warranty for $15. The harder I laughed, the angrier he got. The markup on those things to the individual store or clerk must be much larger than what they make on the actual product. Anyway, I finally asked him if he'd pay $10,000 for a warranty on a $20,000 car. Of course there IS a difference, but it made my point. 50% for a warranty. Ridiculous.
