Question on Office:
I have used Office 97 for quite awhile, and am going to load in on my XP machine. I also am planning to get a copy of Office XP. On my old puter, I had both Office 97 and an older version (which i kept to be able to send files to a family member who had the same old office program). On the old machine, the old office was the default for opening up a Word file that was sent as an attachment, and would result in gibberish when i tried to open a file that was a later version of Word.
My question is: how can I install two copies of Office (Office XP and Office 97) or Office XP and just the older versions of Word, Excel, Publisher, Etc. without having them conflict. tia. larry
