It appears the FBI was specifically warned on April 15, 2001 of a risk that terrorists would use a passenger plane as a bomb. This should silence the right wing extremists who are quick to blame the Clinton Administration for the events of 9/11.

"The caller (from the flight school) finally warned an FBI agent that a Boeing 747-400, which Moussaoui was seeking to learn how to fly, could be used as a bomb, the executive said."
