She's one of Malaysia's top financiers and a loyal supporter of Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad. But Khatijah Ahmad still feels out of the loop. "It's a man's world," she laments. Males who have witnessed Khatijah, head of KAF Discounts, in action might find it hard to imagine her on the outer. "She's a commanding figure in the market," says Franklin Tan, research head at OCBC Securities. Some seem in awe of her.
