telecomguy, The biggest decision is the timing for buying NT. You would agree that if business conditions got better all of a sudden, the stock would be well ahead of that change in fundamentals. That is what I am trying to do with NT.

It does not hurt to buy the stock when it has been such a bad performer ini 2001; most would have bailed out it by now. That is part of my rationalization to take a chance.

I noticed Lucent has also been moving up lately. That to me is a hint that maybe there is buyer interest in the sector as a whole. That is the kind of buying I like to see--sector wide--even if some companies are weaker than others. Of course, my preference is for best ones in the group along with some takeover plays--something I am looking into.
