Assuming that AMD gets 100 good die per wafer (it's likely more, but what they hey), that means their costs are around $20 per good die. Packaging and testing would add another $10-15. So to lose money, they would have to sell at or below that price. AMD lost money last quarter on an ASP of $61 because flash was doing so badly. It might be doing better this quarter, but... No go back and run the numbers with 50 or 75 GDPW. I think you're just shifting the loss to flash to keep the processor yields from looking disasterous. EP
