the art of spin by WSTS,from CBS-MW<<World Semiconductor Trade Statistics reported that the global DRAM market grew 17 percent in November. WSTS said this represented a 68.7 per cent year-on-year contraction but showed continuous improvement since bottoming out at an 81.3 percent year-on-year contraction in August. ( point being these stocks have ALREADY priced in for a literally explosive recovery and every uptick takes them into crazier prices--max)

CS First Boston analyst Charlie Glavin reiterated his belief that the industry has found a "statistical bottom" but added that he expects a pullback to occur in the first quarter of 2002, "giving investors a better opportunity to buy stocks.">>
