Yes, indeed. I told the 7 players and the dealer that I had asked St Jude to pray that the 6 of spades be dealt me, and, lo, there it was. I went on to ask them if they believed in the power of prayer, as I did, and 2 of them assented. We had a short discussion of some of their experiences with prayer. as the next hand or two was dealt. I wear my crucifix on a chain outside my sweater/shirt as testimony to my belief in Christ, and often get comments, even compliments, directed at me because of this 10 year habit. The crucifix also seems to induce more civil behaviour out of the rougher players at my table, as well as religious conversation from other Christians.
