I already received my Richter's Herbs catalogue... I think it must have been at least 2 or 3 weeks ago... earliest I can ever remember receiving it. And, quite by coincidence, I spent about 2 hours lying in bed reading through it last night. It's quite a read as they have over 900 herbs, many of which are obscure medicinals. They also stock unusual vegetables... a lot of the oriental ones which I use for stirfrys.

I dunno about anyone else, but when I start looking at seed catalogues, first I think about the plants, but pretty soon, I'm already imagining them grown and with me eating them... and next, I start getting hungry. It especially happens whenever I read through my Salt Springs Seeds catalogue -- they specialize in unusual bean and lentil varieties as well as things like ancient grains. Yummmmmm... getting hungry just thinkin' about all of this!!
