It is interesting that you touched on social issues and stayed away from economic and policy issues. Also, you avoided the number one social issue, religion, or lack thereof and its implications on everything else. I find this line is extreme is ramming Christianity down everyones throat.
As for pro life, I understand the view and believe that life begins with conception not the first trimester or the the first cry. I have however over the years determined that the whole abortion issue is too hard to make it a black white pro against thing. Thus, I go along with the current rules as I find there are social justifications for many abortions. Morally, they are all wrong.
Immigration isn't even an issue except for a dope. That is the foundation of what made America great. I know there a lot of dopes.
Affrimative action is still somewhat of a joke as the the good ol boy net makes sure that the right folks keep being the right folks. This I find disgusting and the mantra here is mostly status quo don't do anything that may allow someone else to have an equal chance.
Homosexuality, well people are who they are, that is what they are, and if God didn't want homosexuals there would be none, so they must be good. My experience with them has been that they are more sensitive, more aware and better citizens than most straight people.
As for JLA, all I know is that he cannot structure a sentence and is good only for calling people names.
As for the Bible there are several and none should be quoted to discuss social issues, for they all were written by men, trying to interpret God's wish.
What I find really narrow is the constant mud slinging about liberals and democrats and the mindless discarding of any good they achieve. |
