Tony, Albert & All,

It is time for those of you out there in SI wonderland, that have found the magic key to riches, to let your SI audience how well your portfolio did for Year 2001.

Why? Because Humble carl needs a Guru to follow, so please speak up!

I only made a measly gain of 5.93% (after margin cost) for year 2001. (Year 2001 + 1 day it was 12.2%, so that was a little more respectable).

Prior to year 2000, I was rip-roaring along with an annual average compounded return of about 60% over a 10 year period, planning to become a zillionare in a few more years.

Year 2000 ended that dream with a 75% drop so that was quite a shock. But at least I received some good news that year. It was from my Health Care Provider. They gave me a 70% chance of living 10 more years. We got in high gear and circled the globe 2 1/2 times during 2001, as I definitely don't want to leave too much to the grandchildren. Will they pull weeds in your backyard?

Please speak up. I need a Guru to follow...humble carl
