Thursday January 3, 8:40 am Eastern Time KB Home net orders edge down in December LOS ANGELES, Jan 3 (Reuters) - Homebuilder KB Home (NYSE:KBH - news) said Thursday that net new orders fell 0.6 percent, to 1,425 in December, as orders fell in much of the United States, according to preliminary data. Total U.S. orders fell 2.5 percent, to 1,239, with a 23.8 percent drop in the Southwest and a 10.1 percent drop in the Central region. West Coast orders rose 48.2 percent, the company said. Not good for a sector priced for perfection!!! Jim
