Sohn's opinion adds credibility to a tepid recovery
he is from Wells Fargo and is one of few sharp economists
I like Roache of some major brokerage house (Dean Witless?)

as long as these guys dont forecast huge recovery, we should see a reality-based return to health

the real test comes later in 2002 when the Fed rachets back up again on interest rates
I expect tech stocks to tumble then

at the same time, oil/gas commodity prices will have risen
and that will add to the headwind for most firms in cost structure

but what do I know?
I am just a jackass
