Mucho, One of the better posts I've seen on the payment of dividends by growth tech companies: Message 15662683 BTW: In NYC 6 weeks ago the CFO of the most consistently profitable (only currently GAAP profitable) and cash rich major wireless company in the world discussed the fact that they were considering alternatives to their long standing policy of dividend payout (stock buybacks, etc.) ... this in response to an analysts question about why they wanted to portray themself as a stodgy old Blue Chip. - Eric -
