Hi Jim.. long time no talk As for the failure or success of the AMD PR-rating.. I wondered if you caught this article at Vans hardware: "The Success of AMD's New Nomenclature" 216.194.77.198 Its a few days old, but an interesting read. The author thinks the PR rating is a "coup-d'etat" in his words. I've seen at least 1 or 2 other articles in the "tech press" which also believe that the PR-rating has worked for AMD and has been a good marketing tool.. I dont have sources.. but if pressed I can search the web to find the links and t he site(s). PS - if this story has already been posted here - my apologies.. I've been trying to catch up with this thread. PPS - I hope all of you had a Merry Christmas and will have a Happy New Year
