Corner Bay
By MPL Staff Writer

Canaccord Capital analyst Gord Currie continues to rate the shares of Corner Bay Silver Inc. (TSE-BAY, $2.95) a buy. His 12-month target price is $4.50.

Corner Bay "remains on schedule to complete its feasibility study on the on the 129 million ounce Alamo Dorado silver project in Q1/02," Mr. Currie reports. The analyst forecasts production start-up will begin in the first half of 2003, with 14 million ounces of silver produced in the first two years of the mine's production.

Meanwhile, despite the recent rise in Corner Bay's share price, the analyst says "the upside potential for this company is still material." Indeed, he "cannot identify another junior with as good a leveraged exposure to a pure silver play."
