Sorry, no tongues in cheeks here. The Illusion of Need is the foundation illusion of all others. For those who believe in a God of Need, the notion that God imposes "requirements" on us and that we will be "judged" and "condemned" based on how well we meet those requirements makes "sense". Such beliefs lie at the core of most mainstream religion.

However, I freely choose to receive a grander appreciation of a God who is beyond Need and who freely loves all and empowers all without condition or requirement. I also freely choose to receive that We Are All One and therefore are coequal claimants to all creation and that a God beyond need is in no way "threatened" or "offended" by this, for it is the essence of His purpose.

We create the Illusion of Disunity so that we may experience unity. And this is the grandest miracle of all.
